Tim and Sophie's Wedding Ceremony - 31/07/21

I finally had the opportunity for capturing the photos at my first wedding with no restrictions since COVID-19, and it ended up being a really intimate wedding anyway!

Sophie and Tim tied the knot in their legal ceremony before they had a separate bigger wedding a few days later and wanted a photographer to be there to capture the moment they said their "I do's" and I was very happy to be asked.

This was my first wedding in London and the weather was not looking amazing, but I couldn't wait. I arrived early to look around the venue luckily I did because I managed to miss he first down pour just before the ceremony started.

Tim and Sophie were joined by their two witnesses and the room held 70 people, so I was worried it might feel a bit odd and empty, but it was still lovely. The love between these two filled he room and the their friendship with James and Rachel, their witnesses, could be clearly seen.

After the ceremony we were lucky the rain finished and the sun came back out so we could explore the gardens. There were so many places we could take photos so we had a great time during the portrait session.

I am so happy Tim and Sophie loved their photos and that they had such a lovely afternoon, and thank them for including me in their day!
